Shooting Lessons

One-to-one tuition suitable for all abilities and ages.

Our teaching style stems from traditional methods and our approach enables us to teach from the absolute beginner through to established and advanced shots, a service we entertain with great pride. All of our lessons are client specific, with our aim to make you a better shot, whilst being safe, relaxed and focussed.

• For the novice beginner, we will literally start from the ground up, with foot position, stance and gun mount.

• Moving forward, the client would be shown how to read different targets, creating an understanding of the approach required.

• Our ethos is about keeping your eye on the target, combining with fluid muzzle movement.

• For intermediate and established shots, it is about the individual specific requirements, from a general overview, to pinning down that nemesis target, albeit for the field or clay ground.

The topography of our location and range of high towers, as well as one of the most authentic grouse set ups in the South of England, add to why Hownhall is renowned for its game shooting tuition.
